Four Months
Time for another Chinese Parasol update!
She's a little droopy due to the dry July heat but her canopy is starting to take shape.
Seven tiers of leaves now since March 15th.

Ah... beautiful! That is exactly the kind of plant I can't seem to keep around here due to it hailing every other thunderstorm!
Great work :goodjob:I always love big wide leaves. the second pic appears more apealing to me.
Of course, you realize I had to go look back at the beginnings . . . that is amazing! I am impressed with its growth rate. I too, liked the picture you took from underneath. Another great job.
Awww - my Morning Glories look that way after a day in the sun, too. Poor things.
x.g.
Will it flower when it reaches maturity? I've never seen one.
Awesome!
The picture taken from underneath is beautiful!

This is the first time that I've seen one ... Very cool!
I'd never heard of this plant before you started posting photos and now I'm in love with it. How cool and inviting those leaves look!
Nice!
I wonder if you can use the leaves for steaming. Like banana leaves.
Middle picture reminds me of a giant aphid's view.
:goodjob::sunny::goodjob:
That is way cool! I see where it gets it's name! :heartbeat:
My pumpkins are hella droopy! I watered them a ton yesterday...
can this plant be an indoor plant....as my outdoor space is pretty much taken up by now..
the song is lovely too...how do you find or i should say come across these songs...as i have known some of the ones you put at the bottom of your post....but some like this one i have no clue who it is...but most of all ......i find it to be a very nice change in pace...kind of like this song right now.... in how it starts to the sudden shift of tempo at the middle to the end slowly motioning forward....
much love and care to you and yours
Cool! My dad used to call this type of plant "elephant ears," but Chinese parasol sounds prettier.:sunny:
Nice!
