  • Sofa King Tired (Of Being Alone)

I’ve come to the realization that I’m a HUGE jackass! I put my life on hold for a dream & most of what I had going for me is long gone. Aside from a handful of friends, my social life is non-existent. The last time I was in a real, day to day, wake up with & go to bed with relationship was 2002! Ok, I know some of you want to insert groans and expletives here because you’d KILL to have some alone time. Trust me, six years of it has caught up with me and I will gladly trade some of your chaos for some of my quiet. It’s Summer and there should be screaming children running in circles and friends-a-go-go. There should be grilling, clubbing, chatting & dancing.

I’m an all around Renaissance woman & it’s about the whole experience. Problem is I am so rusty that I’m not sure if I know how to be anything but alone. Not to mention the fact that I’m older…no wait…make that more mature. I know there are other women out there who want good conversation, hearty laughter and honest connections. I know it’s not going to happen overnight, but the time for RnBoW House to be open for entertainment and life is on the horizon.

  • Honey, I hear ya.  It's been way too long for me too.  I do have a social life, sort of, but I do so miss the day to day somebody to curl up with at night feeling of a relationship.  I hope we can both find what we are looking for.  :)

  • come visit me. i'll show you around chitown!

  • Your eyes tell tales of volumes. Not to mention an affinity to capturing beautiful objects and thus taking a photograph of it. On another note - funny that all the awesome people I meet through Xanga lives thousands of miles away.

  • I think that simply awakening to what we want in this moment brings its' own power...and even magic, perhaps. It's like a revelation, of sorts and then things seem to fall into their balance.

    And it is good.

    Funky Video.

    Blessings~ :sunny:
