Actually, it was repairs-a-go-go at RnBoW House today!  The bathtub faucet has been leaking out of control and so was the water bill! Not good for the environment or my wallet! So I took a long lunch and booked some time with a plumber.

Apparently this was also the day the natural gas company decided to replace my meter. I had to make an appointment for them to come out to turn the gas back on and light any pilot lights on appliances. Nice to know they don't want me or my house to blow up!

Faucet and meter are both happily in working order!

A blonde gets in an elevator and says to the man next to her TGIF, He says SHIT, She gets upset and says TGIF! He laughs and says SHIT! She says, I was just trying to be nice and say THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY, He says, Yea me too and SORRY HONEY IT'S THURSDAY!

  • The plumber is my least favorite call! They are so expensive!ha ha! I like charmed's comment

  • Ha.  I always love that comic.  My day was like that, but in reverse.  This evening, I got my self all ready to watch Weeds at 9 o'clock ... FORGETTING THAT IT WAS ON LAST NIGHT!!  WTH?!

  • I'm glad to hear everything is working now. I ask people all the time what day it is..."It's Wednesday, right?".

  • All day yesterday I was thinking it was Saturday and even told a couple customers at work to 'have a nice weekend' DUH!  Home repairs drive me nuts.  We had to get a new toilet.  It is the most uncomfortable toilet in the universe. Not something you can exactly try out before you buy it.  I am hoping a new seat might remedy the problem. LOL

  • Always nice when things finally get fixed...

  • That is exactly how I felt on Tuesday. And Wednesday, for that matter.h.

  • Electric Company Rules! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
