Apparently there isn't much relief in sight either, even though I was secretly

  • Have you tried dancing around like the girls in the video? They don't seem so distressed

  • We could use some rain here too. I just would rather it rain overnight than in the day. I am picturing you hiding in your office trying to summon rain.*sparkle

  • Almost nine o'clock here and the heat index is at 104.  We must not live too far away from one another.  I detest this time of year.  I truly do.  Fall, where are you???

  • Here.......Every day in the summer, right about 4pm.... it rains....and I mean RAINS!
Then the humidity goes from the (comfortable) 80% to 100% and after the rain it is HOT and STICKY!
But...I do love the tropics! LOL

  • hot enough I would say... :wha:

  • This is what I thnk is hilarious:I sat here reading and thinking "I wonder what the 'dew point' is - maybe I'll ask RnBoW if she knows what that is..." Because, you know, I've always wondered. And then it occurred to me that I'm having this thought sitting in front of a machine that gives me instant access to all kinds of information.I wonder how long it will take before we all stop bothering to ask eachother questions and just default straight to Google? That will be a sad day.I'm on a Google embargo. Hey RnBoW - what's the significance of the 'dew point'?x.g.

  • Rain voodoo in the office cubicle! I'd have loved to have seen that. ROFL!

  • I still like the percent humidity number over the dew point. We finally got a break in the humidity here this morning. It looks pretty brutal down your way!!!

  • I think we had some rain last night. But it may have been thunder and heat lightening.

  • Wanna swap weather?
