  • Spring Is Coming

    Heirloom Daffodils

The regulars here at the RnBoW Spot will remember I had some surprise residents that were planted around the base of the old Mulberry that appeared after I had the tree cut down November 2007. They didn't bloom last year but I'm hoping they will this year since they got a full season of sun & fertilizing. They are breaking the surface now since the winter is so mild here in Texas. Let's all cross our fingers & maybe we'll see some pretty blooms awaken!

These were a Christmas gift & I got them in the ground last Friday.

They may not produce much this season but they will be a welcome early

  • Your daffodils are coming up now???? I'm so depressed . . . we're expecting another ice storm tomorrow . . .

  • Oh, I am envious! I won't see a spring thaw here in Southern Ohio for quite a while yet.
    *sparkle

  • :sunny:  it must be nice to be experiencing spring already...but than the days are getting longer.. and we can all hope for sunshine and daffodils!!i've got some tulip bulbs someone gave me to get in the ground when it thaws out, i have no clue what color or kind, so it will be a sweet surprise come spring..going to get a bigger veggie garden in this spring to.. with the way the economy is i can grow veggies cheaper than buying them! Peace...

  • It must be mild, although we have had bulbs coming up before only to be snowed upon!

  • We still have two months of winter!! :(

  • I *SO* need to pick your brain for gardening advice. Rainbow house looks like a lovely place to be!

  • What joy!!! And the gift of Tulips from one who knows your spirit well~

We have still many weeks of frozen Winter here, but I must say it is a blessing to follow your garden in the depths of such a season as we know it in the Northland.

    Many Blessings~
