  • A Brand New Day

There is a sense of hope again, a belief that things can and will be different. The changing of the Guard on our political front holds promise. Even the cynical believe in the system again. It doesn’t fix everything & on many subjects, this election barely scratches the surface of what needs to be done. It is the end of a long and mighty battle and it is a joyous and humble beginning. Last night, the sun set on the past and today it rose upon a world of possibility. Whether it be good or bad, the face of this country and the world will never look the same. I am proud and in awe of this opportunity to witness a real change & I look forward to all the things to come.

  • You and me both! People keep telling me I'm goofy, but I'm not . . . it feels like the air is electric!

  • Amen~ :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

  • :goodjob: Indeed!

  • Barack H. Obama made law review at Harvard Law School.  He's a very smart guy, he has a great speaking voice, he could sell anything to anybody, and he has a certain quality of humility and a sense of humor that some of the other recent occupents of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue have not really had.  I hope that he is successful and that the Democrats in general are successful.  People can relate to him, he's the first President in my lifetime who is younger than me.  He is married to a really great person, has happy and well adjusted daughters.  No Billy Carter embarassments.  No bimbo eruptions.

The Republicans were basically run by one family for a very long time and they would have eventually put Jeb Bush in the White House if they had the chance.  This would make America a little bit more and more like North Korea.  Good for a few people and not good for a lot of other people.

  • I feel like a weight has been lifted and I can get down to business this year!!!
