Mystery Plant?
Calling all gardners!
I've got another heirloom plant game for you to play!
This is a volunteer that came up in the garden around the Mulberry stump once the area was exposed to sunlight. She is an evergreen but stunts back a bit in winter. It has doubled in size since last spring. It does not seem to be presenting as a vine/creeper.
Any suggestions?

does this bloom?
Hmmm... it looks similar to the dogwoods I have, but I'd say the leaves are too big. My official name would be "weed tree".
Elderberrry, perhaps? I suppose one would not know if there is no blossom. "Weed Tree" as aforementioned might be the truth of it, but one never knows.
It is still grey here, with threats of snow/rain mix tomorrow. Someone mentioned at work they heard the toads and frogs in the gully last evening. Spring is somewhere beneath the surface. Oy!
Blessings~
No clue!I even asked the greenhouse man!
How are you?
Hum, it say elderbarry to me too, or at least something along those lines , whatever the case i think its something you are going to have to keep good control over before it gets to large.
Hi, just browsing the webrings and found your site!
I got confused with the fuzzy leaves
I don't know what the plant is but good idea asking. I'm new to the whole gardening thing and when I pulled out my "mystery plant," i later found out they were sunflowers!!!
