Made In Rain
Over the last five days, over 13 inches of rain have fallen at RnBoW House!
The garden is waking up again!
Rain Lily
These are little wildflowers that spring up whenever there is enough rainfall to saturate the soil. They are popping up everywhere in my neighborhood including the medians! This one is in a grouping of four just off the back deck.
Flamingo Flower Anthurium
The cooler temps and humidity create the perfect climate for this tropical. I'll have to bring it inside this winter but for now she is very happy in the shade on the back porch.
Zinnia
This should have been dead headed long ago but because of the continual rain fall since Thursday I have not been able to tend the garden as needed. The seeds decided to sprout anyway & now I have new Zinna growth coming from the old bloom! Sometimes a seed is a very determined thing!

Just wonderful photos of the rainy day treasures! I have to bring my peace lilies in for the long Winter's sleep as well. We have had two Summers of more dry than rain and more cool than heat, although the last few days have been the humid Summer we never got. LoL. Still no rain, though.
Fun to see the little video clip :fun:
Blessings~
The rain lilies smell really good, too! I am thrilled with the rain, and am getting more tomatoes, some cucumbers, and zukes, too!
Beautiful pics, as always!
"Sometimes a seed is a very determined thing." Mmm-hmm. :goodjob:
