Lizard In Hand

I came home after dark last Thursday and when I opened the door I saw something slinking across the floor. Apparently this little Gecko decided to come in search of water.
They are quite easy to catch since they like the radiant heat we emit. It practically lept into my hand and was most accomodating about the photo!

So this is the "adjusted" bill I received today!?!
Needless to say, I got back on the phone with my buddies down at the natural gas company to discuss the situation AGAIN! Today they decided to send the matter back to the accounting department to remove the $65.00 reconnect fee that I should not have been charged & to also place notation on the account to not be put in any kind of delinquent status. I will be receiving yet another bill as soon as they get the balance resolved.
I just can't WAIT to see the next one!
Hopefully the third time is the charm!

Dear Stalker, It has come to my attention over the last few days that you are obsessed with my site. Your footprints say you are from Virginia and are using Ask to search my site. Part of me is flattered that you wish to spend hours of your time scanning over page after page of my posts. Another part of me is completely amazed that you would want to travel through the majority of 3 ½ years of daily postings. The rough math on that is over 1000 items. Apparently I have become the best thing since sliced cheese in your Xangasphere. I’m not sure what you get out of your visits as you choose not to sign in or leave comments. I must assume that you like what you are finding here as you keep coming back for more. I’ll be sure to pull up a chair and leave the light on for you from now on. Enjoy! Sincerely, RnBoW

Saturday was swimming and shopping.
Ended up with a little sunburn & some great new clothes and shoes.
Today was sleeping in, cooking breakfast and Hancock at the matinee.
This movie is not AT ALL what I expected & highly entertaining!
Both days turned out to be a perfect way to make
it through record temperatures!
