Dear Stalker,
It has come to my attention over the last few days that you are obsessed with my site. Your footprints say you are from Virginia and are using Ask to search my site. Part of me is flattered that you wish to spend hours of your time scanning over page after page of my posts. Another part of me is completely amazed that you would want to travel through the majority of 3 ½ years of daily postings. The rough math on that is over 1000 items.
Apparently I have become the best thing since sliced cheese in your Xangasphere. I’m not sure what you get out of your visits as you choose not to sign in or leave comments. I must assume that you like what you are finding here as you keep coming back for more. I’ll be sure to pull up a chair and leave the light on for you from now on. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
RnBoW

I've had similar things happen to me, before, and who knows why?
Maybe they're just shy. ?
Thank you for the comment.
: )

sorry they are just web bots. they are interested in your photography. if you turned off your rss feed, it would probably stop

@DancingSun - i don't have my rss feed on. any other ideas?
I've been getting some hits from Virginia too - but nowhere near as many as you! Guess I'm not interesting enough
@RnBoW_SPOT -
not really. it must be comforting to know that you aren't being stalked. this is how google gets their images, too...using web bots (also called spiders..you know..as in webs...world wide..get it?) it's just part of having images available on line. i thought having rss turned off would limit or stop it. now i know differently :sunny:
Mine simmered down again after I put my sign in lock on again. I had taken it off for a friend, but got tired of all the Malaysia footprints. That aside, you are obviously a very interesting person, with a great deal of photographic talent. :goodjob:
It's creepy, innit? Hope your looky-loo goes away soon.
I get a lot of those too . . . but not as many as you. Turn off RSS feed, hmmm? gotta try it.
POLICE!!! <33
Er...stalkers!! That's why I have sign in lock.
OH HO HO!
How nice of you to leave a light on for your anonymous stalker!
*sparkle
yes i get it too & I AM fromVirginia it's a scanner type deal i am not computer savy but they search your stuff the biggest bite to me was photobucket came in & literally stole my main picture files sucked them out roots & all they disappeared from people i sent them to also if you go back in my site you can see some my computer guy told me AOL hired them as an outsource don't freak the Va thing happened to a friend too hmm
maybe that's my Paris stalker i spoke about last week food for thought thanks beck
it's probably my mom
I dont like it either... when someone who has a xanga account but no.. and I mean NO blogs or setups whatsoever... and they are all over your site. CREEPY!
Oy~
When I had the old Blue Cottage site, I would get .gov readings on the site meter whenever I wrote anything anti-Bush administration. The internet can be an interesting place, but kind of unnerving at times, too.
What a world. Take care, though.
Blessings~
I think it's fun having a stalker. Something about the thrill knowing that an anonymous entity is constantly thinking about you. Then again, I always see it as a game of wits.
Have you considered that it might be someone you know in the flesh? I think that incentivise me (if I were a stalker) to check in daily and read past posts...?
Just a thought.
:spinning:I want a web stalker:spinning:
The same thing happened to me back in early April. Virginia went through my entire site in about 2 and 1/2 days. It kind of freaked me out. I have recently gone to friends lock to keep out the looky loos!

..i am thinking how disappointed a stalker would be in my xanga site.. i delete it more than carter's has pills... but i will add this, if it's someone looking for some amazing poetry to read, some mass knowledge of flora to consume, or finding simple pleasure it wonderful photography, or an occasional dose of humor, and great music.. than they have come to the right Spot, Spotty ole pal
Too bad they aren't from Belguim, you could beg for chocolate and Nutella.
I agree with DancingSun - I think they're just random search-bots. I had my RSS on and for a while, things went crazy... Then I turned it off for a bit and everything slowed down.. It didn't stop, but it definitely slowed. But I don't think it's an actual person.
