So this is the "adjusted" bill I received today!?!
Needless to say, I got back on the phone with my buddies down at the natural gas company to discuss the situation AGAIN! Today they decided to send the matter back to the accounting department to remove the $65.00 reconnect fee that I should not have been charged & to also place notation on the account to not be put in any kind of delinquent status. I will be receiving yet another bill as soon as they get the balance resolved.
I just can't WAIT to see the next one!
Hopefully the third time is the charm!

You've GOT to be kidding about that bill! Even if they remove the reconnect fee, it's still going to need some more adjusting!

Just so you all know, I was NOT very nice on the phone!
I don't think I'd be very nice either... were did they get that total from? That is outrageous!
It would seem so profoundly simple to adjust a bill that at the very onset would appear absurd, but that is bureauCRAZY--trying to justify the senseless and acting profoundly confused when you point to the reasonable facts. Oy!
It will be resolved, surely, but then you will get the next bill and they still will not get it that no one uses that amount of electricity in a humble homestead.
