Veteran's Day
I'm off work today & still wearing pjs and drinking coffee at 11:30 AM.
Every other day of the year I take this and all the other freedoms I have for granted
Today I remember and say thank you!
For Cripe’s Sake, Make Up Your Minds Already! Gay marriage has become the new Black President. Apparently we can’t vote for both in the same election! When do we stop waffling back & forth about the right to express commitment, love and joint filing for taxes? Honestly, we are in the winter of 2008 and people can’t agree on such a simple act of equality? It boggles my mind to think that we have come so far and yet we are still so very far away. The really ironic thing is when you get down to the basics of it, how is this fight any different than any of the others we have won? It will happen & we have the “yes we can” attitude to prove it!
Wilderness Retreat
October 18th, 19th & 20th
The RnBoW Crew of 8 rented a cabin in Oklahoma for the weekend
Of course, you know, I had to go on a nature photo walkabout!
Grass, moss & pine needlse on the forest floor
The Pine needles get caught in old spiderwebs making these

Thank God It's Super Tuesday & Other Musings
Today, Americans are voicing their opinions on a national scale
& I haven't posted my opinion in exactly one month.
Seemed like a good time to drop by and let everyone one know I'm still alive and kicking!
I voted & I am so glad we are going to have this election behind us.
Perhaps we can move on to other topics of discussion and pursuit.
In personal news, I am still fine & dandy.
I have a real, 3-D life now that keeps me busy,
entertained & not so focused on this electronic box.
The flowers, trees & bees are all still flowing & glowing.
RnBoW House is full of activity every weekend now with love, friends & lots of fun!
I hope everyone in my Xanga circle is well and happy too!

I had to make yet another call to my pals at the natural gas company when I recieved an automated past due notice email on September 3rd. This time I demanded to speak with a supervisor. She was attentive, gracious and also had NO idea how they could have billed me such a high amount. She said it would be escalated and she would contact me by the end of the week. Not only did they remove the entire incorrect amount but I also got a $111.46 credit on my account!
Finally, a bill I can live with!
